Some families survive by holding still. This one survived so well it forgot ever having to hide.
Zine #003 goes back — centuries back — into the buried history of the Polkey family: the bog, the long inheritance of "stillness keeps us safe," and the slow, dreadful machinery that built the world Prone is born into. It's the deep substrate of the novel... the history Prone will spend the book uncovering, presented here in its true chronological order.
This is the limited convention edition: hand-numbered, only 25 made, with holographic covers, full-color interior, and a mini magnifying glass attached. Once these are gone, they won't be reprinted in this form.
Inside:
-
The historical timeline of the Polkey family across the eras
-
The escalation from "stillness keeps us safe" toward something far darker
-
Full-color illustrated infographics and family history
-
The foundations the whole novel is built on
If #001 is the foundation and #002 is the heart, #003 is the dread... the long shadow the rest of the story stands in.
Only a handful remain from the convention run. Hand-numbered, 1 of 25.
Content note: This work contains medical trauma, coercive control, gaslighting, toxic family, childhood sexual abuse, and supernatural body horror. Please take care of yourself.
