An original sketch page of Double Dee in blue pencil, hand-drawn by me — Raven Molisee — in 2005, during my time as a storyboard artist on Ed, Edd n Eddy.

This is a full sheet of Edd. A whole page of him in different poses and expressions, working out the character from a bunch of angles in one sitting. There are little scrawled notes tucked in around the drawings ("I don't think I ask for much…," "Sigh"), the kind of thing that happens when you're thinking on the page. It's on punched animation paper from the show, peg holes and all.

Pages like this are my favorite kind of working drawing... one character, many reads, all the searching left visible. There's only one of it.

This will not be reproduced as a print. When it's gone, it's gone.
